In 1997, our Founders began acquiring real estate in the New York metropolitan area. They became adept at buying underperforming properties and subsequently stabilizing the assets through a variety of value creation techniques. In 2003, their first development project was launched in Chappaqua, New York. The Founders later came together to form Hudson Hill and utilize their relationships to acquire multifamily and commercial properties under a new platform that offers asset management, property management and facility management under one umbrella. The strength of Hudson Hill lies in the aggregated expertise of our team in the acquisition, financing and management of commercial properties in the local market in which we operate. With our experience and focus exclusively on real estate, we are well positioned to manage the entire investment process, from the sourcing of new deals to property management and disposal.
Dan has extensive experience in the development and management of real estate across asset classes globally. He began his career with Milrose Consultants, working on large-scale development projects throughout the NY Metro Area. His next role was at Aerium, a London-based real estate private equity firm, where he completed over $600m of acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures. His most recent experience was at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), deploying over $750m of equity into development projects and stabilized assets globally. His role at ADIA also saw his asset management of a $1.2 billion GAV portfolio of existing investments. Dan holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the University of Oxford.
Tariq brings 16 years of management experience in real estate investments and property development. This includes office, residential, hospitality and retail assets. Tariq’s previous appointments have seen him drive value in development management, real estate development, investment analysis and asset management, in both the UAE and the United States. Among his many accomplishments have been the formulation and execution of strategies for real estate projects with a value of 1.5 Billion USD and the development of Aldar’s overall strategic plan during a successful merger. Tariq graduated from the School of Engineering, University Of Maryland, USA in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He attained a MBA in Finance & Marketing from the Stern School of Business, New York University, USA in 2002.
Mr. Bonner brings over 30 years of experience in institutional real estate. His strong relationships with U.S. operators and developers cultivated while investing on behalf of pension funds is a great asset to the firm. Mr. Bonner was a Managing Director within the U.S. Transactions Group responsible for real estate acquisitions in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the U.S. and the Eastern Region of Canada on behalf of third party institutional investors. He managed a team that sourced, negotiated, structured and performed due diligence on over 170 acquisitions and real estate joint ventures totaling in excess of $10 billion. In addition to over 25 years at PREI, Mr. Bonner held positions at Exxon and IBM. Mr. Bonner holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) the Advisory Board of NYU’s Real Estate Institute.
